Chris Isherwood is a struggling young writer whose novel, “I Am A Camera”, concerns the events occurring around him in the Berlin of 1930. Sally Bowles, a singer/actress who works in a nightclub, befriends Chris. In the heady atmosphere of 1930 Berlin Chris gets swept up in Sally’s carefree existence. A parallel plot involves an innocent romance between Natalia Landauer & Fritz Wendel. We have a front row seat as their story unfolds & the civilized Germany they know slowly dissolves in front of their eyes!
