Spencertown Academy Arts Center presents Root & Shoots Streams: 2 Blue on Saturday, November 21st. This will be a live-stream of 2 Blue, straight from the Academy stage.
This powerhouse duo features Amy Ryan (guitar and vocals) and Richard Green (guitar and vocals) of the renowned Capital Region blues act, the Amy Ryan Band. Formed in 2016, the duo went on to win that year’s local qualifying competition to represent the Capital Region Blues Network at the 33rd International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennessee. The 2 Blue musical partnership melds Ryan’s acoustic blues mojo and Green’s urban blues and rock sensibilities. With a repertoire that includes originals, adaptations of Amy Ryan Band tunes, and select covers, 2 Blue brings a bluesy feel to the duo format.

The open seating by the outdoor bar is for to-go drinks and takeout food, first come first serve- so feel free to bring some lawn chairs or a picnic blanket to ensure a comfortable seat to enjoy the band. The dine-in service tables are up on the deck and in limited supply so we recommend reservations.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
