Tomorrow, the Village of Valatie celebrates it’s WinterWalk & Winter Parade.
WinterWalk begins with the Winter Parade, and is followed by festivities throughout the village. Visitors can shop at the stores, sample holiday food, and enjoy live music and entertainment until 9 pm. The parade will feature firetrucks and rescue vehicles from several local fire departments, as well as carolers from regional organizations, and parade-stopping performances. A classical feature of Valatie’s winter parade is Santa Claus riding through the village on his sleigh. Santa will park his sleigh for the evening at the Valatie Community Theatre on Main Street, where he will listen to kids’ Wish Lists.
WinterWalk is sponsored by the Village of Valatie, the Valatie Economic Redevelopment Association (V.E.R.A.), and the Valatie Santa Claus Club, which is the “First In The Nation.”
December 10, 2016, 5–9 pm
