Are You Registered to Vote?

The deadline to register to vote in New York is October 9th.

The deadline to register to vote in New York is October 9th. New York offers online voter registration. You can register by mail to vote in New York by printing a voter registration form, filling it out, and mailing it to your local election office. You can also register to vote in person if you prefer.

If you need to check to see if you are already registered, you can do that at https://voterlookup.elections.ny.gov.

Early Voting in New York State will begin prior to the November 3rd General Election and will be from Saturday, October 24th through Sunday November 1st.

Sat Oct 24: 9a-2p
Sun Oct 25: 9a-2p
Mon Oct 26: noon-8p
Tues Oct 27: 9a-5p
Wed Oct 28: Noon-8p
Thurs Oct 29: 9a-5p
Fri Oct 30: 9a-5p
Sat Oct 31: 9a-2p
Sun Nov 1: 9a-2p

Columbia County registered voters can vote at the early voting site located at 401 State Street, Hudson, NY 12534, no matter where in the county they reside. Voting during early voting is the same as voting on Election Day. When you get to the early voting site, you will check in to vote, receive your ballot, and vote as any other election.

Concert in the Park: Back to Bacharach and Beyond by Christine and Elliot Spero

Join the Roeliff Jansen Commuity Library for Concert in the Park: Back to Bacharach and Beyond by Christine and Elliot Spero, this Sunday, October 4th.

Join the Roeliff Jansen Commuity Library for Concert in the Park: Back to Bacharach and Beyond by Christine and Elliot Spero, this Sunday, October 4th.

This free, outdoor concert will take place at the Hilltop Barn in Roe Jan Park. Masks are required and social distancing will be enforced. Guests are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs.

Back to Bacharach and Beyond by Christine and Elliot Spero is a tribute show that will lovingly take you on a journey through award-winning composer Burt Bacharach’s greatest songs, with a few extra surprises thrown in.

This program is made possible with funds from the Decentralization Program, a re-grant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo and the New York State Legislature, and administered in Columbia County by the Greene County Council on the Arts dba CREATE Council for Research to Enrich the Arts, Technology & Education.
