On March 27th Columbia County Soil and Water Conservation District (www.ccswcd.org) invites you to the Claverack Library for an Owl Experience. Learn about all the unique features that make owls, OWLS – their habitats, behavior, and much more. Find out what actions we can take to help protect owl species and their habitats to create a brighter future for our Columbia County owls. There will also be some owl pellets for 4th to 7th grade students to dissect. By looking at the contents of the owl pellet you can learn what the owl ate! All are welcome to enjoy this fun event!
Columbia County Soil and Water Conservation District provides educational programs and services to help residents and communities manage and protect the natural resources of Columbia County.
