The Festival of Trees at the Berkshire Museum in downtown Pittsfield, MA, is an annual holiday tradition that has grown from a handful of holiday trees, to an exhibition of more than 100 decorated trees.

This year discover Festival of Trees 2018: Often Heard, a  collection of dazzling, decorated trees, each depicting a favorite song. The 2018 Festival  will feature more than 100 holiday trees, each depicting a popular song. From hip-hop to doo-wop, blues and jazz to pop, country, and rock, can you guess the song titles from the decorations on each tree? All the trees festooned with musical themes are sponsored by businesses, schools, and community organizations in this beloved annual celebration of the holiday season.

The museum is also hosting an after hours viewing on Saturdays. When the twinkling lights are ablaze on every tree but the galleries are dark. The indoor forest of imaginatively decorated trees festooned with musical motifs offer a dreamy atmosphere during evening hours, and guessing the song title that matches each tree’s décor becomes more of a challenge at night!
