Come celebrate the one and only Chita Rivera in a unique concert event! The incomparable two-time Tony Award winner will recreate signature moments from her legendary career from West Side StorySweet Charity and Bye Bye Birdie to ChicagoKiss of the Spider WomanThe Visit and more. Her special guest for the evening will be George Dvorsky. In addition to a tribute to her dear friends John Kander and Fred Ebb, the timeless music of Leonard Bernstein, Charles Strouse and Lee Adams, Jerry Herman and Stephen Sondheim will also be featured, accompanied by her long-time trio.

A theatrical icon and one of Broadway’s greatest triple-threat talents, Chita Rivera is one of the most nominated performers in Tony Award history having earned ten nominations, won twice and received the 2018 Special Tony Award for Lifetime Achievement in the Theatre.  A versatile actress/singer/dancer, she recently starred in The Visit, the final John Kander/Fred Ebb/Terrence McNally musical directed by John Doyle and choreographed by Graciela Daniele on Broadway; the Broadway revival of The Mystery of Edwin Drood; the Broadway and touring productions of The Dancer’s Life, a dazzling new musical celebrating her spectacular career, written by Terrence McNally and directed by Graciela Daniele and the revival of the Broadway musical Nine with Antonio Banderas.

Her electric performance as Anita in the original Broadway premiere of West Side Story brought her stardom, which she repeated in London. Her career is highlighted by starring roles in Bye Bye BirdieThe Rink (Tony Award), ChicagoJerry’s GirlsKiss of the Spider Woman (Tony Award), and the original Broadway casts of Guys and DollsCan-CanSeventh Heaven and Mr. Wonderful.  Chita was awarded The Presidential Medal of Freedom by President Barack Obama in 2009 and received the coveted Kennedy Center Honor in 2002. In 2019, Chita performed her solo concert at London’s Cadogan Hall; in 2018 she was honored as a Living Landmark by the New York Landmarks Conservancy; in 2016 she headlined at Carnegie Hall and in 2015, Great Performances aired their special Chita Rivera: A Lot of Livin’ To Do, a retrospective of her extraordinary life and career nationally on PBS.

Join the Berkshire Theatre Group this holiday season when they transform The Colonial into a snow globe come to life and welcome back Director Gregg Edelman (BTG: Coming Back Like A SongConstellationsArsenic and Old Lace), Music Director Ross Patterson (BTG: Coming Back Like A Song) and Choreographer Gerry McIntyre (BTG: Nina Simone: Four Women, Godspell) as we celebrate the season staging the must-see spectacular, White Christmas!

Irving Berlin’s White Christmas is a timeless tale of joy and goodwill about a song-and-dance team putting on a show in a magical Vermont inn and falling for a stunning sister act in the process. Full of dancing, laughter and some of the greatest songs ever written, the dazzling score features, “Blue Skies,” “I Love a Piano,” “How Deep is the Ocean?,” ”Count Your Blessings” and of course the unforgettable title song, “White Christmas.” Give everyone the gift they’re dreaming of with this merry and bright holiday musical.

Welcome to J.P. Prescott’s Traveling Medicine Show—a modern take on the old-time traveling tent shows of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Your Master of Ceremonies, Professor J.P. Prescott III, has traveled the globe in search of just the right ingredients to fuse with his patented, pure graded, 100% American rattlesnake oil. Along the way, he has encountered some of the most amazing performers the world has ever known and has assembled them all in one show, for just one night, under one big tent. So find yourself a seat, you are in for a treat. You have made it to the Medicine Show. J.P. Prescott‘s Traveling Medicine Show stars Mike Wartella as J.P. Prescott with performances by: Gina Coleman, The Picky Bastards, Rosebud Red and Opal Raven Cirque of Gypsy Layne, Comedian Juggler Dan Foley, The Magical Comedy of Peter Gross and Serotonin Flow Performance Art. All with the backing of our house band for the evening, the Rev Tor Band.

The Norman Rockwell Museum is hosting a special evening to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Raiders of The Lost Ark.

The Norman Rockwell Museum is hosting a special evening to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Raiders of The Lost Ark. This screening will be a benefit for the Norman Rockwell Museum and the Berkshire International Film Festival. Special guest Karen Allen will speak during a VIP reception prior to the film.

Doors open at 6:30 to set up for lawn seating and picnics.
