This Saturday, from 10:00am to 4:00pm, Chatham will hold it’s 14th Annual WinterFest. This festive holiday gathering includes the official reveals of the village’s decorated storefronts and window displays. The day will also feature special events, activities and holidays sales.
Events include the Winterfest World Hop scavenger hunt. To enter, just pick up a form from participating village locations. The forms will list several locations in the village, and in each location, there will be a “hidden” holiday word. Collect all the words, then bring the completed form to Beach & Bartolo, (34 Main Street), for a chance to win a gift basket filled with donated items from area merchants. There’s no fee to play and no age minimum (or maximum).
Free Hay Rides will take guests on a loop from Main Street to the Chatham Firehouse and Our Daily Bread Deli. Speaking of Our Daily Bread Deli, Chatham MED PTA and Chatham Kids Club will be set up at the deli with a variety goodies and crafts just for kids and their families. They will also be selling baked goods, Christmas cards designed by kids, and holiday magnet craft making. While there, checkout the photo booth and iconic holiday treat – chestnuts roasted on an open fire.
