From The Crandell’s website:
Directed by Glenn Ficarra and John Requa, who gave us the half daring, half disappointing I Love You Phillip Morris (with Jim Carrey), Crazy, Stupid, Love is the best comedy this year, outside of Bridesmaids, of course—and is much more gentle, subtle, and sweet than Kristen Wiig‘s broadside. (Ha, ha.) The always amusing Steve Carell plays a regular guy whose wife, the always watchable Julianne Moore cuckolds and leaves him (or threatens to), with the result that he tries to even the score by going on a dating binge, abetted by the always surprising Ryan Gosling. Throw in Marisa Tomei, Emma Stone, Kevin Bacon, and a very good script, and you have the recipe for an always engaging movie.
