Hiking Steepletop: Expanded Tour of the Grounds at Edna St. Vincent Millay’s Home, Jul 22

This tour allows visitors an expanded view of the wonders of Edna St. Vincent Millay’s home, Steepletop.


This tour allows visitors an expanded view of the wonders of Edna St. Vincent Millay’s home, Steepletop. The tour will include a selection of Millay’s nature poetry, much of it inspired at Steepletop. The tour will be exploring areas of the property not included in the regular House or Grounds & Gardens tours. Be advised that this is a hike. Guests will be walking over uneven terrain, through the forest and the fields. Some of the property may be boggy, so please wear attire appropriate for hiking.

For those who wish to take a tour of Millay’s home afterwards, a 12:30pm tour will be offered for the price of $12.

Walking the dog theater Co., in partnership with Nikita Productions, is presenting William Shakespeare’s Richard II as part of their 21st anniversary celebration. 


Walking the dog theater Co., in partnership with Nikita Productions, is presenting William Shakespeare’s Richard II as part of their 21st anniversary celebration.

A story about identity.  Taking place during a dramatic shift in history when tradition, religion and royal lineage get disrupted, the modern age of ruling-by-might is birthed.  King Richard is a sovereign who plays at being King. Crowned at the age of 10, and surrounded by flatterers, he rules by ceremony and pillage, repeatedly claiming his righteousness as God’s anointed minister. His downfall comes when he crosses one line too many, and the consequences of his misrule and lack of self-knowledge finally come home to roost, resulting in the new order of King Henry IV.

Directed by Melania Levitsky, the play will feature live, original music and the following cast:

The Lebanon Valley Speedway presents 4 evenings of Monster Jam!


The Lebanon Valley Speedway presents 4 evenings of Monster Jam!

The most action-packed live event on four wheels where world class drivers compete. Monster Jam features high octane spontaneous entertainment and intense competition, featuring the most recognizable trucks in the world.

Each Monster Jam truck is approximately 10.5 feet tall, 12.5 feet wide, 17 feet long and weighs 12,000 pounds. The driver’s compartment is a steel safety structure, built from tubing and mounted to the truck frame. The truck bodies are custom-built and constructed of fiberglass. Each truck is transported in specially prepared trailers, which can include spare parts and as many as two trucks.
