Say Goodbye to Summer w/ the ECLECTIMANIAC Radio Show on WGXC

I’m returning to the ECLECTIMANIAC radio show tonight! This month’s show is a send off to summer, expressed through the show’s format of an “odyssey through a diverse pop landscape featuring new hits, throwbacks, remixes and nu-disco”.

ECLECTIMANIAC radio show is a monthly program on WGXC that is curated and hosted by my good friend, Tony@Large. I’ll be stopping by the station tonight to hang out with Tony in the studio.

Roeliff Jansen Community Library Bookshop

The Roeliff Jansen Commuity Library is raising money by selling books and media at the Friends Bookshop.  The Shop is open the last Saturday of the month during the fall. Most books and media have a suggested donation of $1 to $2 per item. New material is on view each month.

New Lebanon Library Crafts Event: Pocket-Sized Notebook From a Cereal Box

This week at the New Lebanon Library, the library will host it’s monthly Family Crafts event. This month’s craft session will teach kids to make their own pocket-sized notebook from a cereal box!

All materials will be provided by the library.
For ages 5 and up.

Chatham Walk-About, Wednesday September 20

Views, Choose & Brews: A Walk-about in Chatham, NY is scheduled for this Wednesday in the village of Chatham. Sponsored by the Columbia County Chamber of Commerce, the “Friends of the Tracy” and participating Chatham venues, invite visitors to checkout the unique, delicious and thirst quenching shops and venues in Chatham.

The Walk-About begins by stopping by The Tracy building where you can pick up a map of participating businesses. Then wander the village at your own pace, and wrap-up at Chatham Brewing where the cash bar will be open and complimentary appetizers will be provided by the Friends of the Tracy.

While visiting participating shops, you can have your map stamped then hand it in at the end for a chance to win a gift basket loaded with gifts from Chatham businesses.

American Constitution Discussion Group, Monday in New Lebanon

The New Lebanon Library, hosts a discussion group that meets regularly to study the American Constitution. This is a bi-weekly group, that focuses on the study of the Constitution, and it’s impact on our lives. Interested participants should bring their questions and be ready to share their opinions.
