Celebrate the artwork of Jeremy Bullis/David Bullis and Michael Simpson at D’arcy Simpson Artworks on Saturday, February 12th, during the 2econd Saturday Hudson Gallery Crawl.
David Bullis created these bright, kinetic sculptures in the 1990s and early 2000s. Jeremy is honored to continue the practice with reproductions of his father’s work and some new pieces that continue the conversation.
The mobiles will be showing along with new large-scale color field paintings by Michael Simpson. Together the works create an atmosphere of movement and music for the eyes in this intimate gallery. In this exhibition, each artist explores ideas of movement, balance, tension and harmony within their own practices of composition and construction.
