Columbia Land Conservancy Nature Night: Wildlife Connections: Using Trail Cameras to Learn about Wildlife

The Columbia Land Conservancy Nature Night for January is Wildlife Connections: Using Trail Cameras to Learn about Wildlife, on the 20th.

Have you ever wondered what our wildlife neighbors are doing when we’re not watching? Join CLC and wildlife camera specialist Sally Naser, of CR Wildlife Cams to learn how trail cameras work, tips on where to set them up and how to get started in your own backyard. Sally will share stories from the field, including beautiful photos and videos of wildlife in western and central Massachusetts.

Sally Naser is the Director of Conservation Restriction Stewardship for The Trustees of Reservations in Massachusetts. She’s a skilled camera trapper who consults with other camera trappers to help them capture a glimpse of, as she says, “what goes bump in the night”. She also collaborates with private landowners and conservation organizations, using the images captured with trail cameras to identify the wildlife on their land and make informed management decisions.
