CLC Events Cancelled, Outdoor Conservation Areas Remain Open

The Columbia Land Conservancy released the following regarding updates, as well as the news that Conservation Areas are open.

Hopefully by now you are heading the Government’s recommendations to stay home and maintain social distance. With so many places closed and events cancelled, finding things to do is tricky. Columbia County Current will do our best to find safe activities to share.
The Columbia Land Conservancy released the following regarding updates, as well as the news that Conservation Areas are open.
  • All events are cancelled through March 31. We will continue to monitor the situation and will provide updates on our website as more information is available. The quickest way to find out if an event will be cancelled or not is to check out clctrust.org/events frequently.

  • The CLC office is closed through March 31. Need to contact a staff member? Visit our website, email info@clctrust.org, or call 518.392.5252 and leave a voicemail.

  • Public Conservation Areas and trails remain open, dawn to dusk, seven days a week. Getting outside and enjoying nature is a great way to combat feelings of stress and anxiety during times like these. Please practice social distancing while hiking to stay safe.

  • We’re here to help. Follow us on FacebookInstagram, and our blog, The Outside Story, where we’ll be sharing resources and leading virtual walks. Stay tuned for an announcement later this week!
