Samascott’s Annual Corn Maze is Open!

Every year, Samascott’s Garden Market in Kinderhook designs and creates a unique, corn maze for visitors to explore.

Every year, Samascott’s Garden Market in Kinderhook designs and creates a unique, corn maze for visitors to explore. The 2018 maze, ‘Charlotte’s Evil Brother’ will be particularly challenging due to all the similar-looking paths.

The Samascott’s web site recommends maze visitors dress for the elements. Bring a full water bottle for hydration and wear sturdy sneakers.

The Garden Market is also open, and features home made Apple Cider, Donuts and more.

DATES/TIME:
September 1 – October 31st, 2018. Saturdays, Sundays & holidays, however weekdays might be available also so ask if you are there.
The maze opens at 11 am, and last entry is at 5:00 pm.

ADMISSION:
$7 per person plus tax; children under 4 are free.

Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Please, no pets.

Kinderhook Village Fall Festival 2017, Oct 7

There are a lot harvest happenings going on in the county this Saturday. In addition to Chatham OctoberFeast and Hillsdale’s Pumpkin Festival, the village of Kinderhook is hosting it’s annual Fall Festival. ​

This family-fun fest includes a Farmers Market, Pumpkin Painting, Ghost Making, Bake-Off & Live Music. Activities are free. Pumpkin painting and ghost making supplies are provided or bring your own. Food will be available for purchase.

Saturday, October 7 2017 from 9am – 1pm

Hillsdale Pumpkin Festival, Oct 7

Hillsdale’s 6th Annual Pumpkin Festival is this Saturday! There will be activities all day, throughout the town. Several businesses will be having some sort of pumpkin activity including preserve tasting, pumpkin carving, donkey hugs, grab bag discounts, games, hay rides, wine tasting, contests, bake sale, movie night and a Pumpkin Pie bake off!
