At 5:15 American Sustainable Business Council’s Carolyn Pincus will provide a short introduction to regenerative agriculture and shortly after that, Kiss the Ground will commence at 6pm. All proceeds of the event will go back to supporting Time & Space Limited who have been serving residents in the Hudson Valley through their culturally-diverse and socially-active environment.

Clermont State Historic Site presents ‘Get Into The Spirit(ualism) of Halloween’ on October 4th.

Join Clermont’s School Program Coordinator Emily Robinson as she examines the history of the Spiritualist Movement. This movement led to the early 20th century popularity of activities like seances, tarot cards, and Ouija boards.  And it began right here in New York! Come join us to learn about some spooky local history.

PLEASE NOTE: Clermont follows all NYS Department of Health guidelines for safety during the COVID 19 pandemic. Masks and social distancing will be required of all tour participants until these guidelines are lifted by New York State Parks.

Samascott’s Annual Corn Maze is Open

Every year, Samascott’s Garden Market in Kinderhook designs and creates a unique, corn maze for visitors to explore.

Every year, Samascott’s Garden Market in Kinderhook designs and creates a unique, corn maze for visitors to explore.

This year marks the 9th annual Corn Maze, and it is a special dedicated to Kayla Samascott Wilson , who passed away in February after a 5-year battle with breast cancer. She was 36 years young with a husband, two young children, and many family members and friends who loved her much.

Kayla loved the farm and played an important role in the family business. She never missed a corn maze with her little ones. In honor of Kayla’s favorite ice cream order ~ small twist with rainbow sprinkles ~ please enjoy free sprinkles on your free ice cream when you find all 8 of the stations that are hidden inside the maze.

DATES/TIME: Weekends through end of October 2020
11 am – 4 pm (last entry)
For Weekday entry, see a cashier

ADMISSION: $8 per person. Children under 4 are free.

Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Strollers are not recommended.
