FASNY Presents Mini Horse Mania: Horsing Around at the Museum!

Join The FASNY Museum of Firefighting for a live show Mini Horse Mania: Horsing Around at the Museum!

Join The FASNY Museum of Firefighting for a live show Mini Horse Mania: Horsing Around at the Museum! First, visit the “adoption barn” and learn all about how firefighters cared for fire horses. Then pick your own stuffed horse to adopt and call your own! Finally, all kids will have the opportunity to meet special guests: Duchess the mini horse and her friend Hank, a mini donkey, both from Hope Farm. Put your skills to the test around this lovable pair by brushing them, petting them and just showing them the love! All supplies are FREE.

All activities are FREE and will be outdoors, with NYS social distancing in effect. Free admission to the Museum will also be offered to all who attend this event. Come make your morning memorable and horse around with us at the Museum! RESERVATIONS ARE NOT REQUIRED FOR THIS OUTDOOR PROGRAM, which will be held rain or shine under open air tents. Admission to the Museum will be staggered and will NOT require a reservation either for this special day.

This program is made possible by a generous grant award from the Hudson River Bank and Trust Co. Foundation.

The FASNY Museum of Firefighting is America’s interactive museum of firefighting! Activities for families include, but are not limited to, the Fire Service Carnival and the interactive Race to the Scene Fire Truck. With over 60 pieces of apparatus on exhibit, whether you’re a firefighter, a student of history or a family looking for a fun and educational day trip, you will not want to miss this unique Museum.
