The Copake Country Club’s Winter Chill-Out Penguin Party is Saturday, February 27th. 

The Copake Country Club’s Winter Chill-Out Penguin Party is Saturday, February 27th. Bundle up, grab your snow gear & hang out on the club’s snow covered hills while enjoying an outdoor bar, grab takeout for a winter picnic by the bonfire, or warm up inside with lunch or dinner after.

Use of the grounds & winter chill-out games are free and open to the public, bring your own equipment, reservations required for dining indoors.

Hudson Polar Plunge 2021, Feb 27

The Friends of Hudson Youth are bringing back The Plunge with an icy cold splash on February 27th!

The Friends of Hudson Youth are bringing back The Plunge with an icy cold splash on February 27th! This year will be playing it HUDSON SAFE. Brave hearted plungers will still jump into Oakdale Lake’s frigid water, in staggered shifts, while spectators can enjoy the show via live stream only, starting at 11am.

Funds raised by the Plunge support two fundamental Hudson institutions. They enable the Fire Department Water Rescue & Dive Team to acquire new and improved life saving equipment and enhance the skills of their team through advanced training exercises. And it allows the Youth Department to maintain a a robust Lifeguard Program. The Lifeguard program allows a broad cross section of our community to enjoy free summer time recreation at Oakdale Lake and gives local youth a dynamic workforce development opportunity.  To make a donation, visit https://secure.qgiv.com/event/oakdale-plunge-2021/donate/

Registration Open for Omi Spring Art Camp

This year Art Omi offers a mini Spring Art Camp to keep kids active, creative, and outdoors!

This year Art Omi offers a mini Spring Art Camp to keep kids active, creative, and outdoors! Join for one or more mornings of exploration and art-making, led by teaching artists. Each session features an outdoor activity, a hike through the Sculpture & Architecture Park, and an art project related to a daily theme.

Children will be required to wear masks, wash and sanitize hands, and adhere to social distancing rules. Children bring a picnic lunch, water bottle, and their own blanket or towel to sit on. This program is limited to 12 participants per day.

AGES: 5 – 11
