Good news for our neighbors to the south. Dutchess County has received $1,018,980 for local road improvement projects thanks to a state legislator. The money will provide reimbursement for eligible transportation projects for local highway, bridge, rail, aviation and port development.
Some of those projects are:
The Repair of Eighmyville Road, in the town of Clinton for $28,080
The Repair of Old Post Road and Pinewoods Road intersection in the Town of Hyde Park for $57,780
Replacement of deteriorated drainage pipes in the Town of Red Hook for $39,600
Reconstruction of Fox Hollow Bridge in the Town of Rhinebeck for $39,420
The Installation of a traffic light at the intersection of South Broadway and Amherst in the Village of Red Hook for $12,060
The Replacement of sidewalks on East Market and Mill streets in the Village of Rhinebeck for 19,080
So what roads or similar projects would you like to see repaired in Columbia County?
