There’s a new/old store in Chatham Village. Crow Cottage, which used to be located on Railroad Avenue in Chatham, has moved into the historic “1811 House” at 2 Austerlitz Street in Chatham village. The building was originally the Stagecoach Tavern when Chatham was known as the hamlet of Groat’s Corner.
The historic building is the perfect setting for Crow Cottage’s expanded offerings of antiques – with new items being added to the store daily. You will also find the primitive and gift items that the store carried in it’s previous location.

I just received Mary Emmerling’s Beach Cottages: At Home by the Sea
by Mary Emmerling.
The book is a great collection of photos of beach homes from southern California to Nantucket Island. Not only are the pictures and accompanying text inspirational design ideas, but the book looks great in any beach-themed room.
