The Roeliff Jansen Library presents ‘Beyond Selfies! Take Better Photos with Gerald Seligman‘ on Wednesday, February 24 & March 3, 7:00 – 8:30 PM.
Take better photos – it’s not your camera, it’s your eye. Learn how to frame and shoot your photos with this two-session class open to teens and adults. Whether you use a smartphone, a ‘point and shoot’ or the latest camera equipment, everyone’s welcome to the course – and all can benefit.

Photographer, Ellen Lynch’s latest gallery exhibition, ‘Touched By Light’, features large-scale images of horses and landscapes illuminated by sun. The works pay homage to the dance between light and shadow. The exhibition open this Saturday, with a reception, and will run until December 27.
There’s an interesting photography exhibit at the Hudson Opera House right now. ‘No Parking: The Alleys and Garages of Hudson’ features three local artists, Lisa Durfee, William Hellermann, and Peter Spear, and their photographs that capture the hidden beauty in Hudson over the past 20 years.
