Christie’s murderous psychological thriller is based on her short story, Philomel Cottage, and is sure to keep you on the edge of your seat. Her heroine, Enid, has accepted what she believes is her last, best chance at marriage, but she can’t help but feel a little trapped. Then a handsome stranger steps into her life and opens the door to new possibilities. Enid rejects her fiancé for newcomer Gerald and moves to a remote country cottage with him – where a dark and terrible climax takes place. Don’t miss this Berkshire premiere!

The Two Of Us Productions presents ‘Rabbit Hole’ by David Lindsay-Abaire. This free, one night only, staged reading will take place via Zoom on Saturday, March 27.

This  Pulitzer Prize winning drama deals with the ways family members survive a major loss.  Rabbit Hole premiered on Broadway in 2006, and has also been produced by regional theaters in cities such as Los Angeles, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh. The play had its Spanish language premiere in San Juan, Puerto Rico in 2010.

Becca and Howie Corbett have a comfortable family life in the suburbs of New York City until a random, tragic accident takes the life of their four-year old son. Soon after,Becca’s younger, irresponsible sister, Izzy, announces that she is pregnant: there will now be a new child in the family. As Becca and Howie grow apart, Becca’s mother Nat badgers Becca about her grieving process while Shauna, the young driver who killed their son, continually shows up to ask forgiveness.

Chris Isherwood is a struggling young writer whose novel, “I Am A Camera”, concerns the events occurring around him in the Berlin of 1930. Sally Bowles, a singer/actress who works in a nightclub, befriends Chris. In the heady atmosphere of 1930 Berlin Chris gets swept up in Sally’s carefree existence. A parallel plot involves an innocent romance between Natalia Landauer & Fritz Wendel. We have a front row seat as their story unfolds & the civilized Germany they know slowly dissolves in front of their eyes!

Join The Two Of Us Productions for their last staged reading of the regular 2020 season. Saturday’s performance will include two Virtual Staged Readings of chilling radio dramas: The Face of Death featuring The Shadow; and Suspense Theater’s The Whole Town is Sleeping.

The Face Of Death:  Lamont Cranston (a.k.a. The Shadow) meets two friends, George Adams & Ralph Baker along with their acquaintances Lucy & Helen at the local club after dinner. After the ladies leave Cranston pulls Adams aside to ask why he seems so preoccupied & is shocked to hear that Adams is afraid that Medusa will turn him to stone if he doesn’t pay the ransom she demands!

Suspense Theater’s The Whole Town Is Sleeping: Miss Lavinia Nebbs, is going to the moving pictures tonight with her friends Francine & Helen. They are all concerned with two recent murders in their quiet town, but still walk across the dark ravine’s bridge to get to the theater. It is on the path through the ravine that they find the dead body of the third victim of “The Lonely One.”

This will be a zoom presentation, free for all, but registration is required to obtain the zoom link.

Join The Two Of Us Productions for a double feature of radio dramas on Saturday, October 3rd with ‘Acting Like A Forger – a Dragnet Story’, and ‘Suspense Theater’s Always Room At The Top’.

In Acting Like A Forger – a Dragnet Story, Detective Joe Friday and his partner Frank Smith are called into a case of a person cheating landlords with phony checks. A down and out actor is the prime suspect. Joe & & Frank pursue this lead until they discover that the actor has already died.

In Suspense Theater’s Always Room At The Top, we meet Helen Brandt, an aspiring advertising artist. Helen is thrilled to interview with Jean Thornton, the successful chief artist of the city’s premier advertising agency. She is suddenly given the chief’s job when Jean jumps out the window of her 35th story office!

This will be a zoom presentation, free for all, but registration is required to obtain the zoom link.
