Join Columbia Land Conservancy and the Chatham community on Saturday August 25th at Ooms Conservation Area to celebrate the end of summer! We’ll have a guided full moon walk, yoga at the gazebo, and food from Main St. Goodness, Bimi’s Cheese Shop, and beer from Chatham Brewing!

Sip & Stroll: Orioles and Orchards will head to Sloop Brewing in Elizaville to stroll the orchard, sample some tasty brews, and talk about the birds that you might find this time of year on farms. The Columbia Land Conservancy presents their second Sip and Stroll event of the season.


The Columbia Land Conservancy presents their second Sip and Stroll event of the season – Herons & Hefeweizen.

Join the CLC at Hand Hollow Conservation Area to check out the Great Blue Heron Rookery, where the chicks may be starting to fledge at this time. A scope will be set up at a safe distance to view, and there will be a talk about the habitats that occur at Hand Hollow. Learn about the birds, while enjoying a Chatham Brewery Hefeweizen beer.
