Chatham SummerFest is an annual Chatham Village festival, and this year will be bigger than ever because 2019 is the 150th anniversary of the incorporation of Chatham Village.

The fun begins at 11am, and runs into the night with two stages for music and entertainment, food trucks, activities for kids, a Farmer’s Market, artisan vendors, WDST radio, a special commemorative beer from Chatham Brewing, and so much more. The activities for kids include face painting, games, balloon arts, and train rides on an authentic reproduction train.

Sponsored by The Chatham Area Business and Arts (CABA), SummerFest 2019 will feature two performance stages with music and entertainment. The
performances begin at 12pm on the Chatham Brewing Main Stage with music by the Reverberators, followed by Guilty Pleasure performing at 2:30pm, and wrapping up with Till The Earth on stage at 6:30pm. In between bands, there will be a Commemorative Ceremony on the main stage at 1:10pm, and WDST Radio will be broadcasting live from SummerFest from 12pm – 3pm.

There will also be numerous activities for children from 11am – 6pm on Park Row including a Balloon Artist, Bubbles, Cotton Candy, and Train Rides. Chatham is
proud of its railroad heritage, and for the first time ever, SummerFest will have an
authentic, and colorful, reproduction train to offer rides to children and adults.
From 1pm – 4pm kids can have their faces painted by Stellar Face and Body Art.
Join in the fun of the Big Head Parade, which starts at 12:45 on Park Row, and
from 11am – 2pm, check out Art School of Columbia County Mural Project at the
Gazebo.

Pictures from Chatham Summerfest 2017

Chatham’s 41st Annual Summerfest took place this past Saturday. The annual street fair featured performers, artists, vendors, and food trucks. It was a great day, even with the ominous afternoon storm that rolled through town.

Here are some pictures that I took on Saturday:
