It’s a Wonderful Night!‘ is a special event and performance to Benefit Shakespeare & Company’s 40th Season.

The festivities include an Exclusive Preview Performance of It’s A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play. This performance will be followed by a private after-party with Artistic Director Allyn Burrows and the cast at Firefly Gastropub. The evening will also include live swing music by The Lucky 5, hors d’oeuvres, an open bar, and a silent auction.

It’s A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play, is directed by Jenna Ware, and features Jonathan Croy, Jennie M. Jadow, David Joseph, Sarah Jeanette Taylor, and Ryan Winkles.

The silent auction features holiday gifts from local businesses including Alta, Berkshire International Film Festival, Casablanca, Cranwell Resort, The Gifted Child, Guido’s Fresh Marketplace, Haven Bakery and Café, Heirlooms Jewelry, Lenox Fit, Mackimmie & Co., Susan Silver Antiques, and Trattoria Rustica.

Hancock Shaker Village Summer Revival Gala August 13

Hancock Shaker Village’s annual gala – Summer Revival – is tomorrow, August 13, 2016, from 5pm to 9pm.

This event, which is a benefit for the village, will include libations, artisanal cheeses and charcuterie in the Shaker gardens. There’s also a Farm-to-Table feast by Fire Roasted Catering and desserts from Magnolia Bakery (yes, the NYC Magnolia). The day also includes musical performances and a silent auction.

Tickets range from $200 (individual) to $5,000 for a table of 10.

Gary Sinise & Lt. Dan Band Benefit Concert

Gary Sinise and the Lt. Dan Band will perform a benefit concert on Saturday for Joseph Wilkinson at the Washington Street Armory.

This concert is part of ‘Building For America’s Bravest’, a joint effort by the Gary Sinise Foundation & Tunnel to Towers Foundation dedicated to building custom-designed Smart Homes for our nation’s most severely wounded veterans.

Proceeds from this performance will help build a home for Tech Sgt. Joseph Wilkinson, who suffers from degenerative nerve damage (Gulf War Syndrome) leaving him unable to walk. [ Read full bio ]
