This Sunday is the 17th Ghostly Gallop 5K run/walk race. The fundraiser to support the Hudson Area Library was created by former Library Director Frank Rees, current County Court Judge Richard Koweek, and the Honorable William F. Cranna, (both Library Board members), the race was initially called a FUNdraiser – with less emphasis on peak performance and more on enjoyment. With Cranna’s passing in 2011, the annual race was dedicated to his memory and a new tradition was added to the festivities, The William F. Cranna Memorial Cup. Known for his great wit and love of reading, Cranna was dedicated to making the Library a better place.
2017 marks the third year that the race will be held on a USATF Certified and Sanctioned course, that not only allows accurate timing, but avoids busy city streets.

DATE/TIME:
Sunday, October 22, 2017.
Start time is 11:30AM sharp
LOCATION:
The race begins at Hudson High School
208 Harry Howard Ave

This weekend is your final chance to see Greater Tuna at The Ghent Playhouse.
This weekend is your final chance to see Greater Tuna at The Ghent Playhouse.
In this hilarious sendup of small town morals and mores, two actors portray 20 characters – men, women, children and animals – all wacky citizens of Tuna Texas’ third smallest town. This popular show has become one of the most produced plays in American theatre history. After you’ve laughed til your sides split, you’ll understand why.
