Basilica Farm & Flea Holiday Market, Nov 24 – 26


BasilicaHudson’s fifth annual Holiday Market happens this weekend.  The market will showcase the variety of talent the Hudson Valley region has to offer, with 90% of vendors coming from the local area.

With 100+ vendors filling over 9,000 square feet, Basilica Farm & Flea Holiday Market is the largest market of its kind in the region. Visitors can shop handmade and vintage goods, purchase locally-made added value food products and eat farm-fresh food.

Basilica Farm & Flea bills itself as the antithesis of big box Black Friday. The market is part timeless flea and farmer’s market and part 21st century craft and design fair. Basilica Farm & Flea is inspired by the abundance of passionate and talented farmers, collectors and artisans in the Hudson Valley.

Handmade Holiday at Spencertown Academy Arts Center, Nov 24-26, Dec 2-3

Spencertown Academy Arts Center presents it’s annual holiday craft show, Handmade Holiday. Holiday gift shoppers and art lovers “go local” at this high quality sale that features jewelry, handmade apparel, quilts, children’s toys, cutting boards, baskets, ceramics, tin sconces, paper crafts, birdhouses, soaps and lotions, holiday ornaments and evergreen swags, and an array of delectable edibles made by dozens of Columbia, Ulster, and Berkshire area artisans.

Holiday Market at Greylock WORKS, Nov 18

A new holiday market at Greylock WORKS celebrates the uniqueness of the Northern Berkshires. Set in an expansive, light-filled mill, the festival marketplace offers music performances, food crafters, local farmers, fermenters and distillers, and the region’s best artisans and textile curators. There also will be programs and workshops that invite visitors into the true stories of the artisans.

Stuyvesant Train Depot Flea Market, Nov 11

The Stuyvesant Train Depot Committee is hosting the third Stuyvesant Train Depot Flea Market to raise funds for the restoration of the historic station.

Vendors will sell handmade jewelry, artwork, primitive and country home decor, handmade Christmas decor, small antiques and collectibles, handmade crafts, baked goods and more. In addition to the vendors, there will also be live music with Marilyn Miller, and chair massages from Hands of Bleu.
