TheFamily Friendly festival will take place on the first fairway of the 18th hole lakeside golf course, and will includeLocal Craft Vendors, Kids Craft Corner and Face Painting, Lawn Games, and Live Music provided by Rhinebeck School of Music.

Samascott’s Annual Corn Maze is Open!

Every year, Samascott’s Garden Market in Kinderhook designs and creates a unique, corn maze for visitors to explore.

Every year, Samascott’s Garden Market in Kinderhook designs and creates a unique, corn maze for visitors to explore. The 2018 maze, ‘Charlotte’s Evil Brother’ will be particularly challenging due to all the similar-looking paths.

The Samascott’s web site recommends maze visitors dress for the elements. Bring a full water bottle for hydration and wear sturdy sneakers.

The Garden Market is also open, and features home made Apple Cider, Donuts and more.

DATES/TIME:
September 1 – October 31st, 2018. Saturdays, Sundays & holidays, however weekdays might be available also so ask if you are there.
The maze opens at 11 am, and last entry is at 5:00 pm.

ADMISSION:
$7 per person plus tax; children under 4 are free.

Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Please, no pets.

This Thursday, NYC’s “experimental pop innovators”, Gang Gang Dance, will be at The Half Moon in Hudson.

This Thursday, NYC’s “experimental pop innovators”, Gang Gang Dance, will be at The Half Moon in Hudson. Gang Gang Dance will be joined by Deakin aka Josh Dibb of Animal Collective.

Gang Gang Dance is an American experimental music band based in Manhattan. The band is known for its distinctive sound which features synthesized electronics and percussion, plus the varied vocal styles of singer Lizzi Bougatsos. They have toured internationally and released several albums.
