Nancy Hagin is a contemporary realist painter. Working in acrylic and watercolor, she is known for her lush hues, exploration of color symmetries and opulent patterns. Hagin received a BFA from Carnegie Mellon University and a MFA from Yale University. She has served as an instructor at the Maryland Institute of Art, Fashion Institute of Technology, Pratt Institute, Cooper Union and SUNY/Purchase in New York, and worked as a visiting artist/guest lecturer at the Rhode Island School of Design.
