Dance Omi Salon Open to Public on Jul 22

With a diverse group of dancers from all over the world, the Dance Omi Salon is a forum for the residents to share their individual work with the public before exhibiting their collaborative projects later in the month. It is an intimate evening of live performance set in the studio spaces, and gives context to individual artist’s work at the start of the residency program.

This performance will be a musical and dramatic presentation, with pianist Lincoln Mayorga performing Chopin’s Twenty-six Preludes and illuminated by correspondence and diaries of the composer and his lover, George Sand performed by actors Nancy Rothman and Martin Anderon.
