The Rob Beaulieu Band will host and kick off the event. The band is comprised of local veteran musicians and fosters a close-knit sense of community among musicians.

About the Host:
RBB is a deep dive into Americana, with a slightly more blues and soul take than you will find with Rob’s other band, Raisinhead. Rob explores an improvised approach to the rock, folk, blues, and soul catalogue. Playing everything from gospel tunes to Lou Reed and everything in between, plus reinterpreting many of his own songs, the whole experience will leave you in a soulful mood. The show is slightly akin to a Jerry Garcia Band show. Never the same show, never the same approach. The band includes Tony Perino on organ. Tony toured with ex-Allman Brothers Band guitarist Dan Toller for 10 years. Tony solidifies the southern blues and soul elements in the band. If you want to come and be rocked, dance some, cry some, laugh and cry a lot, this is for you!

Rob Beaulieu Band is:

Rob Beaulieu – Guitar/Vocals
James Kirk – Bass/Vocals
Dave Spadaro – Guitar
Chad Ploss – Drums/Vocals
Tony Perino – Organ/Vocals

The Theater Barn, in New Lebanon, presents the David Mamet play, Boston Marriage, from June 3rd to June 12th.

Anna and Claire are two bantering, scheming “women of fashion” who have long lived together on the fringes of upper-class society. Anna has just become the mistress of a wealthy man, from whom she has received an enormous emerald and an income to match. Claire, meanwhile, is infatuated with a respectable young lady and wants to enlist the jealous Anna’s help for an assignation. As the two women exchange barbs and take turns taunting Anna’s hapless Scottish parlor maid, Claire’s young inamorata suddenly appears, setting off a crisis that puts both the valuable emerald and the women’s futures at risk. To this wickedly funny comedy, Mamet brings his trademark tart dialogue and impeccable plotting, spiced with Wildean wit.
