Jason Webster Concert @ New Lebanon Library

Join us for an evening of music with wonderful Berkshire musician Jason Webster, who will perform a combination of original music and folk/rock covers for guitar.

Jason Webster attended the Berklee College of Music. His former band, Xavier a.k.a. Lord Hill, toured the country and the world with Arlo Guthrie. He has also performed with Little Feat, Kate Taylor, The Allman Brothers, and Pete Seeger. The ever-popular Jason Webster Band is a local favorite and allows him to showcase his original music.

Free and open to the public – donations for the performer are welcome.

This event forms part of Rhinebeck Reads initiative, centered around Geraldine Brooks’ 2006 Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, March, about Little Women author Louisa May Alcott’s father’s exploits during the American Civil War.

Matteson will discuss his own writing process and share invaluable insights into the Alcott family, gleaned through his extensive research which will offer readers the opportunity for further exploration of one of literature’s most iconic figures.
